Merchandise Manager
As a Merchandise Manager, you will work under the direct supervision of
a Store Manager or an Assistant Manager, and will play a critical role
in the over all appearance of the store. Your primary responsibilities
will include merchandising, maintaining Standards of Presentation
(SOP), and insuring direct store delivery procedures are followed. You
will also play a key role in the total store management team as you
assist in the development of fellow employee-owners, provide daily
in-store leadership, and continue our Kinney culture of providing
outstanding customer service. Assistant Store Manager As an Assistant Manager, your main responsibility is assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store and in providing the leadership for the employee-owners. You will have the opportunity to work side by side with the store manager, assisting in the directing, coordinating, and managing of many of the store’s day-to-day activities. You will play a lead role in the development of store personnel, and in the maintenance of the superior customer service that has led to Kinney Drugs' many successes. Like your Store Manager, you will be accountable for improving unit sales, profits and store image necessary to implement your store's business plan. Store Manager Trainee The Management Trainee program was created to provide those individuals who are motivated to be a Kinney Drugs Store Manger with a detailed program that they can follow to chart their progress on this road to success. This program combines on-the-job training with traditional classroom training to help the candidates develop the management and technical skills necessary to become a Kinney Drugs Store Manager.
